Central Bank of Somalia Visit

Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) Chairman Mr. Mehmet Ali Akben hosted Mr. Abdirahman M. Abdullahi, President of the Central Bank of Somalia - CBS, and his accompanying delegation on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

During the visit, information was given about the approaches and practices of the BRSA in regulation and supervision processes and the Turkish banking sector.

At the meeting, attended by the executives of our institution, the Memorandum of Understanding to be signed between the BRSA and CBS and other concrete steps to be taken to encourage cooperation between the two institutions were discussed.

After the visit, which lasted for about two hours, it was stated that they would be pleased to continue the communication between the two institutions, and a gift presentation and a souvenir photo were taken.
